Dublin Vinyl Record Packaging Design

Dublin Vinyl have a subscription service called LovesVinyl where subscribers receive a selection of vinyls every month including a compilation vinyl specially pressed every month. For #14 the compilation featured Black Irish artists and so this cover reflects the duality of that identity. On the left-hand side you see features of Irish culture and the right depicts elements of the Black experience. The pyramid in the center contains that which brings the two together, which is a passion for music. This piece won a 100 Archive award in 2020.

The vinyl was pressed on blue PVC to match the vibrant, colourful tone of the project. Each side has different coloured flames on the label that spin hypnotically as the vinyl plays.
