Big Romance RE:Issues

This artwork was created for RE:Issues, a pop-up exhibition of album artworks and tales in which artists reimagine album artworks that were important to them. The exhibition was hosted by Cabbage & Kraut and The Big Romance bar. Channel Orange by Frank Ocean will always have a place in my heart as it was the catalyst for Frank coming out publicly around the same time I was realising I was bisexual. It was the soundtrack to many summers in my life. The original cover was very minimalist, simply the title on Orange, so I decided to do a maximalist version with each album track represented by its own illustration in the piece.
