Soft Eis is a multidisciplinary independent magazine based in Berlin. They were releasing their new issue revolving around the theme of sex, exploring the topic from different perspectives. They needed promotional imagery for their launch that captured the brash spirit of the magazine. The creative lead of the mag and I worked together on creating an atmosphere that was sultry and sensual using textures and objects with loaded symbolism for a series of still life images. Red and blue gels cast an inviting light and my high-contrast retouching gives each scene an element of drama.
